For the most accurate estimate of home owners insurance rates in Cape Coral and surrounding communities stop by a webpage set up by the State of Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.

Simply click on Lee County and you will see homeowners insurance rates for home with and without windstorm mitigation protection measures based on an estimated $150,000 value.

Also don't forget to stop by a few other webpages to learn about Flood Insurance. FEMA has just released new Flood Maps as of August 2008 for Cape Coral FL. You can enter an address and obtain more information.

FEMA Floodsmart also has a good article with questions to ask your real estate professional.

Your best bet of course would be to contact an insurance professional in our area.

If I can be of further assistance don't hesitate to contact me.

Depends on many things, is the home in a flood zone?? How old is the home, is it up to current hurricane codes?? Cant just give an answer to the question.

I would suggest you call Bruce Ragain, he is my Insurance Guy and he may be able to help you more.

Let me know if you have any other questions I can answer for you.
