No, not compared to the beach areas as everything is relative. We would be happy to send you homes similar to the listing you were looking at. Our search engine as a licensed Realtor is more advanced than what you will find on the web and it will make it easier for you to work with us in your home search. The link to our website for starters follows. Let us know how we may help further. http://www.naplesrealestateguys.com/ or toll-free at 855.627.5376.

Richard rates depend on many different factors - age of home, roof shape, construction, occupancy and location. That particular home is in an an inland zip code so your rates should be fairly reasonable. Since it is older I would recommend getting a wind mitigation inspection done. This inspection is strictly done to provide credits on your insurance policy and can result in reducing your premium by up to 70%. The cost to get the inspection done is approximately $100, however the credits can result in hundreds of dollars of savings and are good for up to 5 years if you stay with the same insurance company. This home is also in a higher risk flood zone so you would need to get flood insurance as well if you are going to have a mortgage on the property. The current owner or realtor should be able to provide you with a copy of the elevation certificate to get a rate for that. If you are coming from another state don't be surprised if your insurance here in this area is 2.5 to 3 times higher than up north. Unfortunately you are paying for hurricane exposure. If I can be of further assisatance or you would like a firm quote please feel free to call me at 239-433-7191 or email me at mwisniewski@bbandt.com .

If you would like for me to help you feel free to call me or email. Please keep in mind that insurance rates are high in the state of Florida almost everywhere. Also it does matter even though you may get the inspection there is no garuanty that rate will be lower.

Richard,
No it does not as i live in this neighborhood. However if you do wind mitigation on roof it will bring your insurance down anywhere.
If i can be of more help, please feel free to contact me direct.

Hi Richard,
This home/ area is in the FEMA designated area designated as "AE", meaning it has a 1% annual chance of flooding. Flood insurance is required but is not all that expensive with the low risk factor. I have insurance agents that can provide a quote.
I am very familiar since I have sold in this area of Naples. Please contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Yours truly,
Mary Horesco
