why do i need a 2nd extension on buying a house?

Hi Tron, I agree, there could be a myriad of reasons, the most likely if your mortgage pro has not asked you for more documentation is the lender you are working with is swamped with applications and is unable to underwrite your loan in a timely fashion. I understand some of the bigger banks are over 60 days in underwriting presently.
Best wishes for a timely underwrite! We are still at 5 day underwriting this week.

You should be speaking to your broker and mortgage lender. My guess is you have some mortgage related issues that need to be resolved.
