Mid century housing stock is all over Lithonia and older houses in Lithonia started tanking in price in the early 2000's - too much new competition closer in to the A, and too much overbuild of the 1980's and 1990's chipboard/polybutylene/etc. houses with limited curb appeal. Quite a bit of mortgage fraud and other market detriments plus a city that lost it's bonding and accreditation for a while, all made Lithonia kinda sorta get hurt.
The 1950s-mid 1970s brick ranch housing stock in Lithonia can be very, very good buys and there are some stoopid big newer Mcmansions on beautiful land in Lithonia too.
Some of those Mcmansions are a little starkly located and built out, yet there are some folks who dig that exurban grandeur.
I like Stonecrest Mall too.
Does look good coming from LA, huh!?!
