Hi Ms. Kelly,

How are you? Thank you for your online inquiry. Property taxes differ in all areas of PA. Do you have a particular address or zip code in mind that you are wondering about? If so, please feel free to email me at Phong.Lam@c21ag.com or call me at (267) 918-1880 and I'll be more than happy to provide you with a more definite answer to your question. As Anne had mentioned, property taxes are assessed using many different factors, such as location, amenities in the areas, schools, lot size, and many more.

Hope this helps!

My Aunt is 75 yrs old and lives in Cheltenham township. I will be moving with her after my Uncle passed in April. I will be taking over the bills. I found the tax invoices and need some clarity.
Are school tax and real estate taxes invoiced together or separate?

Ms. Dutton,

The total millage rate for Glenside (or anywhere in Abington) is 34.216. So if your home is assessed at $200,000, you would need to pay a total of $6,843.20 every year which would include county, local municipality and the school district. Of which $5,560 goes directly to the school district.

Please contact me if you would like further assistance finding a home either in or out of Abington.

Hi Kelly,

Glenside can fall under Abington Township and also Cheltenham, taxes are generally higher in Cheltenham Township than Abington. If you have a particular house address or an MLS # feel free to send it to me and I can send you the MLS infomation on the home,

Is there a particular house you are asking about? Each house has different taxes based on size of lot, size of house and location. Please contact me with any additional questions you have. I am not able to give you a tax on houses but I could give you the taxes on any particular house you might be considering.
