UpNest.com is a great platform to compare realtor commissions, profiles and rebates. By submitting a request on our site you will get an idea for what different agents charge and what services they offer. You will also get a detailed proposal with info on market trends and the agents marketing plan.

There is no average. However, selling a house is not cheap the commission is peanuts compared to the sale of the house. Most sellers who skimp on the real estate commission get what they pay for. If we go into a 99 cent store we're going to get what we pay for.

The real estate commission is for the expertise on how the agent is going to get you the best price possible in a market that is not promising. Anybody can sell a house but only the fine realtors know it takes more to just put a sign on the property its all in how you present the house, and work the buyers to get you what you want!

You as an individual negotiate what commission you pay. There is no average commission! Each real estate company is free to set its own fee schedule and to negotiate various rates with individual buyers and sellers. Any agreement between two different firms to set standard rates, however, is a serious violation of antitrust laws. Violations occur when competing firms agree to act together, this is what the US Justice Department calls restraint of trade. There is no set fee, fees are negotiable.

Seller's strike an agreement with their listing broker/agent, hence, the commission is paid by the seller. The buyer has no commission payment to the broker/agent. If you are the seller, and you feel confident in your broker/agent, you will both have to agree to the terms of the commission. Renters' commission is mor formulaic, usually the commission reflects how much rent is being charged. I hope this was helpful.

We don't charge any commission when you buy the house.
When it comes to sale of your property, it's open for negotiations.
If you looking to rent a place, you probably will have to pay a commission.

Commissions are always negotiable between you and your agent; there are no set standards; therefore choose your agent with care, and not by commission alone...

All commissions are negotiated.
Discussing them is illegal for us; it smacks of collusion and we can get our hands slapped.

But, what do you care; Buyers don't pay any commission anyway!
So it is really noneya!
