Windermere Lakes has some features other communities don't have, mainly the water cannels behind most of the homes. A "Florida" feel in this community!
The builders that finished out the neighborhood including David Weekly and Princeton are good, quality builders. Nice amenities such as community pool, lighted fountains and common areas are always a plus. Also not far from Highway 290. And once 290 gets widened out, the commute to this area will be that much shorter.
So yes, a good investment in general. However, you don't want to overpay for a home in any neighborhood. Have a Realtor review the prices, upgrades in the home, location and more to really determine if your paying a fair price. That is about the best you can do as no one can predict the future.
Key is staying in your home a longer period of time and not adding too many upgrades. Markets will go up and down, but the longer you stay in the home, the better odds you will be able to obtain a nice appreciation on the value when you sell. Let us know if we can help!
