Taxes vary property to property, property size, upgrades, schools, local amenities, etc.; you can contact the local tax assessor's office/research online, or consider working with an agent of your own who can provide any necessary information; also check http://www.mlsli.com

Hi Keith, if you e-mail me your search parameters I can e-mail you a list of available homes with the taxes listed on them. Currently in Central Islip there are 46 homes for sale priced betweeen $250,000 and $300,000 (I used arbitrary figures just to give you an idea) the average taxes on these homes are $9,219. Please e-mail me if you have further questions.

Keith, taxes in Central Islip and all other parts of Suffolk & Nassau Counties vary. Depending on the size of the house and where the house is located, taxes can range from the $4,000 to more than $60,000.

In Queens taxes are much lower than in Suffolk & Nassau. I suggest you meet with a Loan Officer and find out exactly how much you qualify for and how lower or higher taxes affect your pre-approved amount.

I'm available to meet face-to-face in my Queens or Long Island offices. I have many good Realtors I can recommend who work in the area. Feel free to call or email anytime. Good luck!

Taxes, Keith, are specific to an individual home.

If you can provide an address (as an example) would be happy to check it out for you.

Hello Keith. Each home has its own tax base. Some vary by size of sq. footage total, some do not which makes it sometimes very arbitrary. If you would like more info please contact me thank you.
