Just depends, where you office, type of area you desire, etc.
Lots of neighborhoods to choose from:

In addition to many more. Depends on lifestyle & office location.

My forte',.. negotiating price & smooth & successful closings.
I know construction, & valuate property as well as an appraiser or better.

There are lots of wonderful neighborhoods in Plano under $300K. I would be happy to put together a list of available homes for you. Just let me know your "wish list": number of bedrooms/bathrooms, pool or no pool, if you have children, what grades will they be attending, and if there are any specific amenities you would like (for example, a game room, granite counter tops, etc.). I live in Plano and my children attend a couple of the great Plano elementary and middle schools. I would love the opportunity to assist you with your home search.

Great! Also, what is the tax rate in Plano? What kinds of things are there to do there with families? We are coming from Southern California and we live in a really populated area. I am looking forward to a somewhat slower pace of life..
