Hi Heather,

If you are truly serious about buying a house, you need to find yourself a REALTOR! Please start interviewing some Realtors to find one you feel comfortable with, that you feel will work really hard to find and negotiate the best deal on your favorite available home. Your Realtor will do all these searches for you and you should receive further e-mails with any new listings that may meet your preferences.

First step is to get yourself pre-approved for a mortgage and find a good REALTOR! Let your Realtor do the rest of the work for you. That's what Realtors get paid to do. The best part is you don't pay much, if anything, for their services. Commissions are customarily paid from the sales proceeds by the Seller.

Have a Happy & Healthy New Year! Good luck with your home search. If you haven't found a good Realtor yet, please feel free to call me. I'd be happy to interview for the job.

All the best,
Larry Lichtman

Good Afternoon Heather,

It all depends on the amenities the house has, if it is a fixer upper or foreclosure. There are many factors one has to compare.
