Bartlett is a very stable incorporated city in Shelby County with a great infrastructure (fire, police, sewer, water, government, etc.) and I find most of my clients who live there, usually "move up" to a larger home in Barltett. Not moving out of the city limits of Bartlett.

Your question is too vague though. What is your budget and what type of home are you looking for? Are meaning safe as in crime or as in investment return? When you say old - 100 years old or 20 years? You know houses are durable goods that have a long shelf life is well maintained.

I would love to help you along with my team in finding a wonderful home at an awesome price that fits your needs and that would appreciate as well as being appreciated. Let us know how we can help.

Hello Sri,
I agree whole-heartedly with Jo; Bartlett's stability is evident in the residents' demeanor. As for safe areas, the recorded statistics never lie. I always suggest that my clients review an area's crime statistics for the past year if they are not familiar with the area. Memphis Daily News is a good source for this information; I'm a tree hugger so I read online. Just in case you have trouble retrieving information, email me and I will gladly look up some areas for you.

I have come to the conclusion that eveyone has to be diligent in their own safety, in any town! -but we love Bartlett, it has a great performing arts center, great town hall meetings, and fairs, outside parades, a real community feel about it, there is a house on 6917 Quailfield for sale, it is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home, a split floorplan , that is when master on one side , rest of rooms on the other! vaulted ceilings make the 1500plus square foot home feel large, and has a fab back yard, when it was initially listed there were 8 other homes up , off of Kirby-Whitten so close to getting to the medical center to expressway, etc. price is great at $144,900,lowest in that neighborhood! but other fab homes to be around, check out the school systems too if that is a need of yours- take care and always remember in home buying or selling-it only takes one!!!!
