Hi Yh, I've had several listings in this section - one on Albert and one on Lawrence -- very nice area and the West End elementary is nearby. The North Plainfield market was very sluggish but has picked up as first time buyers come off the fence in hopes of capitalizing on the Federal Tax Credit. Because of the entry level price points in North Plainfield, it is getting healthy first time buyer traffic. The taxes are high so watch that line.
You will see a "north of 22" presented as an advantage in many listings - generally there is a desire to be north of 22 in many of communities that hug the highway, including North Plainfield and Green Brook.
Below is an excerpt from a testimonial from the Seller of a home I marketed on Albert Street that recently closed:
"""Having many options in our corporate relocation program, we chose Jeannie for her professionalism and her understanding of the North Plainfield market. Our decision proved to be the right one. Jeannie was persistent in marketing our home while also communicating with us and managing our expectations during this very tough market. ....""
