The actions of one insane, probably drugged, individual does not a city make. Kudos to the police officer who stopped the perpetrator and clearly saved the life of his victim. I certainly hope he makes a full recovery.

Miami, like any other place, has crime. I think the thing to remember here is that the police acted quickly and effectively.

Hopefully, our next "zombie" incident will be on Halloween, and not involve an actual felony.

Why? Do people hit you there often or what? They throwing stones or bottles again?

And for the record, I haven't been hit, had stones thrown at me, or bottles for that matter. I feel no more unsafe here than I did when I visited North Carolina three years ago.
