Based on your criteria, a great place to start would be Steiner Ranch - http://www.steinerranch.com. Other good options would be Circle C Ranch and Travis Country.

Most properties owners won't do a short term lease, and you can miss out on some GREAT foreclosures that can be below market value then you are tied into a long term lease for 12 months plus. Try an extended stay hotel, locate a great realtor who can work with you
You also need to be pre-approved for a home loan prior to looking.
