Most of the time the reason short sales take so long is because the agent who has the listing has no clue what they are doing. I hate to be frank but many so called short sale experts took a class for a couple of hours and don't have a true understanding of the complexities of a short sale transaction.

Short sales can be great deals if you have the right person managing the transaction.
