Why not consider working with an agent of your own; he/she can provide suitable listings, any necessary information, schedule showings, etc. If purchasing with a mortgage, be aware that a mortgage pre-approval letter is required in order to determine your price range and for any offers to be taken seriously. When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

If by multi family = 3 family, when you find that with all the ammenities listed, lemme know. We will both go to the leprechaun at the end of the rainbow, and ask him for his pot 'o gold.

Two family is a possibility, but a ways out probably.

Good morning Raymond,

I'm a veteran mortgage professional with 22+ years experience helping HomeBuyers. I'd be happy to sit down with you and prequalify you for mortgage financing. We'll review the basics of a successful mortgage approval: IAC or Income, Assets, and Credit. You'll know exactly what loan amounts and programs you're qualified for. If you're not ready yet, you'll learn that, too, and we'll create an "Action Plan" to prepare you for homeownership.

This would be easy as pie to do! We can go over what areas you might like, put together a list of houses and go see them. Buying a house is a big investment and should be a pleasurable one. Let's get started right away!
