lowest price markets

Asked by Kevin Keenan, Greensboro, NC Fri Jan 23, 2009

Looking to buy something in $150,000 range. Maybe 3 BR, 2.5 Baths. Would like to rent it out during winter and then use as our residence June and July (we live abroad, but spend summer in US). So maybe either near a university or perhaps a place snowbirds flock to.

Absolutely no roots in terms of geography, for looking for place where money will go furthest.

Any suggestions for specific markets we should focus search on when we are in States later this year.

Hello Kevin,

Can I suggest the coast in Southern Maine? There is a great deal of homeowners that rent for the winter and come for the summer in this area.
Feel free to contact me at dlett@assist2sell.com
or office at 207-282-0990 ext 403. If you email me, I would gladly send you some listings in the area.

You are looking a a very wide range of real estate possibilities in a market like this. There are numerous locations that will meet your criteria both on the east and west coasts of the US. South Florida is a prime location for "snowbirds" and a location that features value currently.

One of the nice features about "snowbird" traffic is there is a less intense wear and tear on the property than in a university setting. Please let us know if you would like to find out more about real estate opportunities in South Florida. We would be happy to supporty your interests.
