I would find a lender that supports these programs. They are really the ones that will make the process work for you. Make sure they do them on a regular basis.

A great way to see if there are programs available for you, and the area that you are looking to buy in, is to go to the Texas Home Program and check out the programs and then contact a REALTOR® to assist you with your search and take you on a tour of properties that might be of interest to you.

There may be homes some foreclosures that you might be interested in as these give first choice to first time home buyers and sometimes special down payment deals.

My website also has lots of tools to help you find information about subdivisions, schools, and more.
