OK--which signing? You could be at the closing, you could be a seller signing a listing agreement or you could be signing off on a seriously large loan to support the purchase of a home. In each case, read all words carefully. Someone else may want you to speed it up, skip the boilerplate language or step out for a beer. Don't. Be as careful as your lawyer would want you to be. It is your committment--demand answers, in English and with circumspection. The more you understand about the contract you are signing, the more comfortable you will be after it goes into effect. Remember--signing anything requires you to act along certain lines. Allow only your best judgement to rule. Read and then sign--if you get it.

Take a deep breath.................relax

If you have surrounded yourself with a team of experienced real estate professionals whatever comes up will be able to be taken care of at that time.

Good luck
