It depends on the type of the loan that you qualify for. If you do not want to give a Down payment you may verify if you qualify for a USDA loans, type of loan that is Zero Down. This does NOT mean that is Zero Move-In since there are costs associated with obtaining a loan that you may need funds for unless... it's negotiated in the contract by an expert Realtor. There are other programs that can assist with Down Payment, but they all require higher credit scores than a regular FHA loan and your interest is usually higher. For more information you should get pre-approved with a Mortgage Banker, they will tell you what programs are better for you according to your specific situation. If you do not have a trusted lender, I will be more than glad to give you great referrals.

Suggestions before falling in love with a house to buy: 1-Find a capable Realtor you feel comfortable working with 2-Get Pre-Approved by a trusted Mortgage Banker.

There is no down payment required if you go USDA financing. It's a great financing option that helps home buyers. Just about any house in the Manor area qualifies for USDA financing.
