is it true for a mortage they take the highest and lowest number and through it out , to get the medium number?

Correct.

If you have 3 scores of: 710, 695 & 742
Then we us the 710(middle score) for qualifying and pricing.

ALL THREE scores and their corresponding reports are considered for underwriting.

If you are referring to your credit score, there are three scores. We (the lender) take the middles score, which means we go from highest to lowest and use the middle number.

I'd heard that too:
The problem is, that information does us absolutely no good,
because we can't control anything.

NO... on a mortgage report there are 3 credit scores . The middle score what the lender will approve for a loan
