Granville is in beautiful Washington County. Tucked between the Green Mountains of Vermont and New York's Adirondack Mountains, it is blessed with incredibly beautiful land. It is still very rural with dairy farms dotting the landscape. Granville itself is an All-American town, with a real old fashioned downtown that has remained unspoiled by the turn of time. Granville is on the eastern border of Washington County. The east town border line is the border of Vermont. (Rutland County).

It's part of the Glens Falls metropolitan area which is an area consisting of two counties in Upstate New York anchored by the city of Glens Falls.
