if someone receives ssi,ssa can qualify to buy a house?

More information would be needed but "Yes" you can use SSI. SSA for qualifying if it will continue...3 yrs. or more and proof will be needed.

Hi Patty,

Your best bet is to check with a lender so they can run a credit check on you & ask you some pre-qualification questions, in order for them determine what kind of a loan you would qualify for, as whether or not you receive SSI would not be the only determining factor the lender would look at.
