It may be, but the information on many commercial sites may not be as up to date as we would like. Having your agent verify in the MLS or even better contact the lister to determine current status will be the most accurate. Sometimes there are negotiations going on behind the scenes that you should be aware of before you fall in love with a home.

If you are asking about the properties you find when Searching the Foreclosures here at Trulia then the answer is most likely NO..Trulia has some type of business relationship with RealtyTrac which allows ReatyTrac to post what appears to be available Foreclosures when in fact many are not and if you look you will see that to view info on the Property you are directed to RealtyTrac, most likely with the hope you will subscribe to RealtyTrac...
All of the Trulia Foreclosures are RealtyTrac postings and only a very few may actually be or ever will be available to purchase...
From Trulia
Where do you get your foreclosure information?

All foreclosure listings are provided by RealtyTrac and display basic foreclosure information. In order to view full foreclosure details, users must register with RealtyTrac. RealtyTrac offers a 7 day free trial, but charges a subscription fee after the initial trial period

A Consumer searching Foreclosures on Trulia is just consider a potential customer for RealtyTrac in my opinion and should use another RE site if they really wish to browse of view actual Foreclosures....Any Agents site is more accurate or useful than Trulia if you wish to find information that has any real value regarding Foreclosures or any other type of Property....Trulia is a fun toy but if you are a serious Buyer looking for accurate listings then I suggest you use an Agents site from the area you are interested in....

In other words if you want Flash and glitter then use Trulia but if you want actual available Foreclosures use an Agents site...simple as that and my honest opinion....

Please feel free to review my Profile and decide how much value you wish to give my opinion.....and my opinion is every minute searching Foreclosures on Trulia is a wasted minute and if you value your time find sites (Like a local Agents site) if searching for actual properties that are actually available...

PS..Where do you think the actual available properties Trulia does have come from? Local Agents, that's where...So use local Agents sites IMO if seriously searching....

The absolutely non-pro Dunes
who in exchange for paying $20 to Trulia became a TruliaPro..lol

Depends--keep in mind that any internet information is only as good as the source that feeds into it--thus, some of the information may be inaccurate if the source did not update the listing as available or not, etc. if you are looking at any RealtyTrac's listings do keep in mind that you could be looking at a lis pendens property--notice of default--some of those properties may not be for sale yet, and some may never be, if the owner satisfies the default--for accurate and most up to date information, consider working with any local agent.

Many times, some of the listings may take as long as 24 hours of more to update. Please also keep in mind that properties that are listed on Trulia may also already be under contract or pending. Unfortunately as of this time, they do not have a seperate heading for properties such as that.
