if a house that i have made an offer on recieved a higher offer then mine and goes into ACTIVE OPTION can i still contact the realtor and tell them

that if the buyer backs out to please consider my offer first before other ones considering i'm walking in with CASH IN HAND?

Yes, you can make a backup offer on the home. We have a form that you would submit with the offer. If the seller accepts your offer as a backup, the form specifies the time frame in which you must be notified if the first offer fall out. Should you find another home that you make an offer on that is accepted you must then with draw your offer on the first home. If not you may wind up buying two homes.

You could ask to be a back up offer. If something were to happen with the first offer you would be next in line.
