When did you find out about the transformer box? Did it just all of a sudden appear on the lot? I would think that you received other documents from the builder that may have mentioned this. It sounds like you did not get your own agent involved in this. My suggestion would be that you go visit the sales office tomorrow and tell them that you don't want the lot with the transformer box. If they disclosed it to you, they'll be happy to show you when and where. If they did not disclose it, then they should let you change as I would consider it a material fact. Please understand that I am just expressing my personal opinion. What I am saying is not intended as legal advice and you should not rely on it as legal advice. If the developer does not budge, you should make an appointment with an attorney and have the contract and all the other documents that you received from the builder reviewed. Take one step at a time. You have to take action a.s.a.p. as all the wondering what the builder may or may not be willing to do does not help you. If the developer is willing to work with you, get everything in writing and have it reviewed by an attorney.
