Have you lived in a condo before? Its a bit different than a single family home or an apartment. I've been on the board of my condo association and have lived in condos in Ohio and Florida. I'll be happy to help with your search - on and off the beach in the Tampa Bay area - where the living is easy!

I think you need to figure out where you want to live and in what condo complex, possible 55+, amenities etc. A price range is a good start. I have an FSBO that will be coming up for sale in July in a large 55+ waterfront community in zip code 33707 with 2br,2ba, covered parking and a waterview. It will be priced as a steal when I finally put it up for sale. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Tom,

How are things in Michigan? I lived in Waterford Township north of Pontiac for two years when I was in high school many years ago. What a stunning place with all of the beautiful vegetation and lakes!

I live now in Central Florida, just north of Orlando and about midway between both coasts. We are mainly a bedroom community for Orlando and the attractions, with many quaint towns and villages and some fine gated retirement communities. Our claim to fame here are the more than 1,000 lakes, including a large chain of lakes that flow north via the St. Johns River to Jacksonville and the Atlantic Ocean. We also have the beautiful Ocala National Forest with many crystal clear bubbling springs that form river runs and provide a vast range of recreational opportunities. The lakes remind me very much of Waterford Township, only without all of the cold and snow, of course!

If you might be interested in more information, just visit my website, and you can search the entire MLS for all of the different possibilities that will work for you. Contact me anytime if I can assist you in any way.

Tom - I can send you hundreds of condos that are for sale. There are are many things to consider. Do you have pets? What size are they? How many? Some condos do not allow pets at all - others allow one small dog and perhaps a cat. Are you 55 or older? Do you want a retirement community? Will this be your primary residence, or just a vacation home? If a vacation home, do you prefer to buy one furnished? You did not mention price - How much are you willing to spend? Where would you like to live: Beach? Inland? Please feel free to browse the website or email me directly for further information.
