Contact the county or city code enforcement immediately... Some areas charge $100 per day until it is fixed! It can add up quickly!

It really depends on the county where you purchased the home. It's very likely that if the violation has been recorded for a long time the city will want you to fix immediately.

It is not a wise decision to purchase a property with open violations. This needs to be done immediately, but not that you purchased, may be greater monies needed to cure the issue.

Julio, Violations are placed and since the day it is placed at property them you have to start working to comply with building and zoning. In the event is a foreclosure property them you have to start working inmediately after closing. In the event is a regular sale them same as before. You can go to miamidade.gov and find more information about it.

Hello Julio,

Check the violation notice.

Usually the city will tell you a date.

You can sometimes look it up once you go on the city website.

Thank you,
