I would like to buy a house on Tennant Avenue and was wondering how safe is the neighborhood (crime rate, school, etc.). Appreciate any feedback from those familiar with the area.
Thank you and Kind Regards,

Hi Aj123,

Feel free to check out Trulia's Local Info, which includes Crime, Commute, School, and Amenities data here:

I hope this can help!

Hi Aj123

Tennant Ave. is too close to Hwy 85 and 101 and maybe noisy at times.

For school info go to:

and look under Oak Grove School District

One can get a nice sized home for about $400K
there are quite a few foreclosures and short sales
and live comfortably.

For day to day update the San Jose Police Dept. has a fine site called:

For detailed crime stats there are many fine sites:

If you have more questions give me a call. It would be good to know what your budget is and
what you are trying to get, clearly, you are looking for a big house at a low price.

Good luck.

Just as Ron said, us agents can not comment on that.

You can visit and do your own investigation and determine what is acceptable to you.

Also, on my website under Buyer Resources is a Zip code link so that you can compare various zip codes.

Have an amazing day!

If a Realtor is familiar with that area, and they tell you,
Yes, it is a low-crime area, or they tell you,
No, it is a bad area for crime;

Either way they can be held accountable, and get in trouble.

This is a question that you should ask the local police: It is their job and their responsability.
And they won't get into trouble for answering you.

Good luck and may God bless
