Dear Yaffa:

You can go to the web site and input the address to find out the taxes. You have to register with the site but it is free and worth it because you get lots of good public information on properties in Brooklyn there. If you need further assistance, contact me direct. Good luck!

I disagree with the other 2 answers. Never rely on a 3rd party website for information as important as tax rates and tax bills when that is public information direct from the county.

Whichever county the home is in, go to that website and look up the tax bills with the tax department. They are guaranteed to have accurate and updated information.

Actually you can go to and go to the financing section of the site and click on property taxes. The actual tax bill and exact amount is listed, just have the address or block or lot and it will come up and it will let you know if the bill is current and the billing schedule.

If you use Trulia or Zillow, it will be listed under the listing. If not a home that is listed, calling the local township tax department will get you the answer.
