I have had a client ask me about this recently. The main areas buyers seem to be currently concerned with are those that are closest to where this plant is and buyers should check into whether they want to live this close. The Exide plant is now offering free lead testing to anyone living in the City of Frisco and they and the city are working together to bring down the emissions from this facility. That being said, no one yet knows if this will make a difference in resale values down the road.

I live and work in Frisco every day. If I can help further, just drop me a note:

I have not had any clients express concern about this condition. It is something that they should be aware of or made aware of and then they can make an informed decision. Frisco itself is still a great drwaing card for new residents, particularly relocations. The impacted area is small and the issue is being addressed in the usual effective and efficient manner that most things are done in Frisco. I feel the impact is minimal to none.

I have never had any buyers or sellers express concern about Exide either.

As a Realtor, I have personally not had any clients express concerns about this company. This company is located near other commercial-zoned areas and there are plenty of homes available for sale in Frisco that are not near this part of town. If you are concerned about this company, you should still be able to find a home for sale in Frisco that meets your needs - or you can certainly look at other nearby areas like McKinney, Little Elm, Allen, Plano, etc.

If you would like to a list of homes available that may meet your needs, please let us know. Our team is happy to provide you with area information to assist you in your home selection process.

Not sure anyone can accurately answer this question.
None of my customers have been concerned.
Frisco is a pretty big place, if it is a concern, choose one of the areas away from this business.
