Remodeling is all subjective and depends on what you want and don't want. Contact any contractor for bids.

It depends on what you want to do and what you want to put in. For example if the kitchen is too small and you'd like to tear down some walls to open it will cost more than just keeping it as it. The upgrades that you put in the house will also dictate the cost: are you planning on installing hardwood floor or carpet, how old is the AC, water heater etc. I would suggest getting some bids from a couple contractors.

Good luck,

The only way to know is to have a contractor come and inspect the home, a home that old might require new electrical wiring, hvac installation, etc. If the home has not been bought yet also have an inspector inspect the home to let you know if there are any internal issues with the home. Whatever number the contractor gives you always add a cushion of maybe $15,000-$20,000 for surprises.

This is what I have been doing since 2005 and counting. Your renovation should start at $40K. You just need the right contractor and a person like me who can re-imagine the place and then list for you. Call me for more details, I'd love to help you: 214-356-0111.

NOTE: Trulia currently has a tech issues posts comments are currently shown as run on statements from professionals

NO Realtor can render an opinion only general contractors. It depends on value of the home/ area what your specifications are to remodel.

Wood flooring? Granite? Lighting? Cabinets? Paint? Interior ? Exterior ? Carpet? Cut out walls open / expand area(s)? Roof? Gutter? Landscaping?

Hello, it is good to hear that you would like to remodel a home, it helps with property values. I have a number of vendors who can give you a quote, but that quote will vary based on what you want done to the home and exactly the materials you'd like used.
