Hi JP,

Yes, we can help you. We read below that you are not from the area and are questioning the prices here. Based on where you are located, the prices here can be vastly different. For example, my partner, Pam, is from the NYC area where a "cheap" house would be in the $200,000 USD range upwards to multiple millions.

However, here in Rochester, NY, you can purchase a home for under $10,000 USD, but that would be in a pretty "rough" neighborhood. It all depends on what type of investment you are looking to make and what your comfort level is as far as how bad of an area you want to hold property in. The lower end housing market does offer the highest ROI for our investors, but then you (or your property manager) have to handle all the tenant headaches that come along with it. And you also need to weed out the good from the bad property managers too.

Since we are straight forward investors ourselves (not Realtors) we can offer you the true insight into the neighborhoods of Rochester. We have been investing and living here for 40+ years and can give you many, many legitimate references.

If you would like to discuss this further, please email us at 1855JOEBUYS@gmail.com or call our number and leave a voice message with your contact information. We will gladly reach out to you to discuss what your investment interests are.

We look forward to hearing from you.

You may wish to check http://www.realtor.com it posts properties from the MLS system--scams do exist. always proceed with caution, and do meet/interview agents in person.

Consider working with an agent of your own; interview in person a few local agents from different realty companies then choose the one you like best--your agent will be your best guide.
