Ann Howell gave you good links and info, so I won't repeat that. The truth is that all budding communities like The Canyons at Granite Dells rely on specific buyers. Most of the buyers we are seeing in the market today are either investors or "deal seekers". They are buying bank owned homes and short sales in large numbers. Budding communities like The Canyons are many times overlooked. That doesn't mean that one can't find a great deal in The Canyons. All communities in Prescott have to compete with the going market. Which means that all prices have to come done before any buyer will consider buying a property.

There isn't a lot of activity anywere.
There is the only listed home.. I think it is a great deal.. there are lots for sale and home packages.
There are some great deals in the area also Ann is right get a Buyer's agent that knows the area..
Always the best bet.

The Canyons is still going. To check out their website go to One resale home has sold since last year and there is one on the market. You can see those here:

There is another home on the market just outside of The Canyons that I visited last week here is the link to that:

Sun Pine is still building in the Canyons. (Remember - it is a good idea to have buyer representation by a qualified Realtor in all cases)

There are other boulder communities in Prescott that you may be interested in such as The Heritage and Enchanted Canyon.

I would be more than happy to investigate any of these subdivisions for you in more detail.
