Maybe, but if you still own your home, please talk to a Realtor immediately about the possibility of doing a short sale. While you might not get the cash for keys money, the fact that the bank can't come after you for the outstanding mortgage balance after the foreclosure usually far outweighs the benefit of a couple thousand dollars.
