Buyer assistance is available in certain locales--a local agent is best suited to advise you about this. Closing costs are normally paid by the buyer--but the seller is sometimes willing to do this--again-consult a local agent.

Liz there are some cities that do have down payment assistance programs, but each city is unique and has different requirements.

Closing costs are negotiated for you by your agent and sometimes the seller agrees to pay for them. Now as far as city programs there aren't programs in Norwalk or Paramount at this time, but there are homes that qualify for a lower down payment, these are governement owned homes.

Again, if you need some help please call me or e-mail me.

Good Luck,
