Yes with a separate bill of sale. If you are getting financing it can't be part of the contract.

Suzie unfortanately the property you are inquiring on didnt come through, you should go back to the listing, click on the profile of the listing agent , and email them direct as they may not see it here in voices.

Suzie,

Anything is possible.....we often encounter sellers in our area that are willing to part with all or a portion of their furniture. In part, this happens because there are so many "parttime" residents with second homes in other parts of the country or because the sellers are advanced in years and looking to "downsize."

It never hurts to ask!

Alan,
I'd bet you're a kick at parties!

Suzie; Furniture, Tools, Lawn Mowers, Kitchen Gear; all are PERSONAL Property. They cannot be part of a Real Estate transaction. HOWEVER, anything remaining in a house when the Escrow closes, is normally considered part of the sale.

A gas stove is considered part of the house, because it is attached.
A refrigerator is not considered to be attached and therefore is normally not considered part of the sale.

When a Buyer or Seller LISTS/OFFERS on a property, they should list the items that are included or not-included as part of the sale.

If there is something exceptional; such as a SHED, REFRIGERATOR, or TRACTOR, we will add the wording; "10' x 10' Shed to be included with no value shown, for expample.

So, the answer is yes,
You will have to have good communication, possibly an Adendum, agree on the terms and details.
Be very careful to have good communication!

it's okay with me, but you'd better check with the sellers, first.

What property are you referring to? Are you referring to a property that you're under contract on? You should have your buyer's agent contact the listing agent and see if the sellers are interested in selling their furniture. If you're asking about some other listing, then you should try conctacting the listing agent. Good luck!
