I just noticed that every answer that was given to you talked about gulf view or bay views. There are other water views. In Lakewood Ranch, there are some great condos overlooking a 160 acre lake. And I am sure that there are pther condos that offer waterviews that can be quite beautiful, especially if they have a western exposure. The 350K figure will definitely make it harder for you to find something right on the water. But if you don't mind going a few miles North, I would strongly suggest that you look at Terra Ceia Bay in Palmetto. They have incredible water views. And if you went across the Skyway Bridge to Pinellas, you could hit the jackpot. I recently sold a penthouse condo in the Pasadena Country and Yacht Club for $365K. And it has western waterviews. Gorgeous million dollar sunset for a thrid of the price. ;-)

the Renaissance is a good place as mentioned earlier,,,,, also you can think about the Marina Jack area as it overlooks the bay and is close and within walking distance of the theater's and downtown restaurants , entertainment and cultural amenities,,,,,, your price range is on the fringe but can be done with the right seller,,,,,,,,,,,,

For a downtown condo I would suggest The Renaissance. Condo on the Bay has the best views downtown but there are not a lot of options under $350,000. One unit recently closed for $340,000 so I imagine more opportunities will come.

Longboat Key - Windward Bay or Portobello

Siesta Key - Siesta Towers

Lido Key - no options

Don't overlook Venice. If you are considering the Venice area, often lumped with Sarasota, it might be worthwhile to take a look at San Marco on Tarpon Center Dr. It's a transformed building that has gone through major upgrades and has reasonably low fees. It's situated smack on the beach and an easy walk to fine dining, the Venice Yatch Club, and the busy Gulf Inlet.

We would be happy to assist you with additional information.

Good luck,

There aren't that many condos that have water view for under $350,000 but I can give you some ideas on areas you might want to take a look at that have water views and are within that range.

Winward Bay out on Longboat Key has some condos that have water views from all rooms for under $350,000

Longboat Beachcomber and Longboat Harbour and Silver Sands are another idea.

The Renaissnace in downtown Sarasota has great bay views.

Gulf Stream Towers has a full unobstructed view of Sarasota Bay, Bayfront Park, Marina Jack's, Golden Gate Point.

Siesta Towners on Siesta Key has Panaramic views of the Gulf and downtown.

Bay Tree Club on Siesta Key is a Gulf to Bay Community.

I am a native Floridian and was born in Bradenton. I have lived in SW Florida my whole life and would be happy to show you around if you give me a call or email. Good luck with your serach!

I agree with many of the previous suggestions, but I would like to ask to to define what you mean by "best" water view. With the recent adjustment in prices for condos in Sarasota, there are plenty of excellent condos with beautiful water views. You are not likely to find a view of the Gulf in your price range, unless you settle for a one bedroom condo in Siesta Tower. There are plenty of choices for beautiful bay views, and it's up to you to decide if you prefer sunrises and looking back at the city light from the keys, or westerly views of the bay and sunsets from the mainland.

In addition to the view, I hope that you'll consider lifestyle when looking for your condo. On Longboat Key, you'll find great beaches, golf, and boating opportunities, but those $350,000 waterfront condos on mid-key can be pretty far from the theatre and concerts in downtown Sarasota. There are some great downtown condos with bay views that are very close to fine dining, the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center, and excellent restaurants, and these places are not far from the beaches or boating. If you are looking for nearly new buildings with modern amenities, downtown offers Alinari, The Renaissance, and Broadway Promenade with bay views for $350,000 or just slightly more.

On Siesta Key, there are plenty of condos with beautiful bay views for $350,000 or less, and there also several with views of their own boat harbor. you'll want to learn about Siesta Harbor, Pointe, Island Reef, Sunrise Cove, and Bay Tree Club. The lifestyle on Siesta Key is relaxed and the beaches are spectacular, but it can get pretty crowded in the season. Condos at the far south end of the key are away from the crowds.

On the mainland, be sure to check out Pelican Cove. It's now possible to get a 3 bedroom condo with a view of the harbor for only $350,000, and 2 bedroom units with a spectacular view of Little Sarasota Bay, the Intracoastal Waterway, and gorgeous sunsets are available for not much more. Pelican Cove offers 87 boat slips, 6 swimming pools, tennis, kayak and canoe storage, and numerous other amenities on 75 beautifully-landscaped acres. It also has the convenience of being on the mainland, which means great access to shopping, restaurants, hospitals, etc. If you are not familiar with Pelican Cove, be sure to check it out.

I think that you'll have to spend some time visiting these condos, to find the "best" water view, I would be happy to help you with your search. If you like, you can start by viewing listings on my web sites, either http:// or http:// . Otherwise, I will be happy to email you listings that meet your needs. Either way, I guarantee that you will have plenty of condos to learn about. If I can help in any way, please contact me.

Hello Sany

There are a few developments on Siesta Key that are available for under $350, with great views. Beachhaven is a great unit at Cresent Beach (easy access to the highways) that use to be over 55 community and now is not! If you would like more information please let me know.
