are there any reasonable condos listed for sale near Northeastern University?

Asked by Barb, New Jersey Tue Jan 27, 2009

Wouldn't this be a good investment for my son to live in while in college for the next 2 years instead of living on campus and paying rent?

Hi Barb,

Now is certainly the time to buy in Boston - prices are down and rates are low. It's the perfect storm! More importantly for your situation, rental rates are high. You will be shelling out some serious cash to house your son during college and it makes a lot more sense to put this money towards building equity in a condo.

I would be happy to search condos in and around Northeastern for you but I will need a little more information (i.e. price range, size, parking needed?) You can reach me at I am a buyers broker in the boston area and I know the market very well. Feel free to visit our site at
