anyone know about the approved lender list for the nshp program?

Asked by 00190019, Hillside Apartments, Laredo, TX Mon Aug 3, 2009

I was just prequled for an fha loan but my fico is about 605. I know most banks require 620 fha but are there any that are approved for the nshp program that don't? Really quick question. I don't have any serious derogs, I just lost my job a year ago and am now stable but I was quoted 6.5% which isn't the greatest but I can always refinance but I was concerned because when I asked my lender about the nshp program he said I needed 3.5% down.

Yes you do need 3.5% down to qualify for NSP program 2nd loans.
I do have a list of lenders that could advise you on whether or not you qualify. Please feel free to contact me.

I know an incredible direct lender who can answer all of those questions for you. The FHA is on the verge of changing their fico requirement but have not done so yet. Please give Jo-Anne at Platinum home Mortgage a call. She is the best expert I have found so far. Her # is 619-668-5255
