Yes, I would be annoyed to learn that the listing sheet, which said 1955 was wrong, and the house was really built in 1927.
But because of the incorrect information... being deceived... not because a house that old is somehow unacceptable. I simply want to make my purchasing decision based on correct information. But the house that you liked enough to write a contract on, and then have inspected... is still that same house. It's still as pretty, still has as good a layout, still has the proper number of bedrooms and baths, the kitchen still looks great, and the yard is fabulous.
She's just a bit older than you thought. In our area, a home built in the 20's is pretty normal.
