If you are looking at tax records it could just have been a refinance.

Did it have a different owner in between those two times? I imagine there could be many reasons for this, for example if they moved away and ended up coming back and by chance the house was for sale again but barring that I can't quite explain it without looking up the history of the sales which might give us some clue. Is there a house that you are interested in?

Well, I was interested in a home in Evia neighborhood. Even had my realtor show the house and then we found out their was a pending contract. I've been checking on this house for about a month and 1/2 and the seller listed on the papers we were given is now listed as the owner under Central Appraisal District.
