Why are there listing with no inside pictures of the property? I'm not going to be living in the pool. I am planning a trip to see great listings. Dee

Dear Dee,

It is frustrating when a realtor does not put listings in. In my experience,It makes the buyer feel as if there is something wrong with the home. I as an agent put as many possible pictures in my listings as I possibly can so that I can give the viewer a tour of the home from the entrance all throughout the living space. It is important to see the pictures in the unit to see if you can live with the appliances, the flooring, and the walls. I feel your pain as many times I have to preview properties for my customers before they even come to purchase. If only other agents that list properties would do their job completely it would make the buying experience a little bit easier. Dee - As a realitor who also has to deal with the lack of pictures, I share your frustration. However, my take on it is that if they are not showing interior pictures, they are clearly hiding something. I always advise my clients to not fall in love with the pictures when they are good as NOTHING beats looking at it in person. Nothing !~

If You are Planning a trip " to see great listings" Best to secure
" Great Contacts " in your areas of choice. They can send you
the most complete info and share insights!
You always want to look for properties that meet your criteria! Good
local Contacts can help you " weed-out" sales "puff".!
Listing Info is always presented to put the property circumstaces
in the most favorable "light". Some confirmation " from the ground"
should be secured before landing! Best!

I am sorry but I could not help but answer to annette's lackof tact. there you have it Ghuffman0105- agents that are justify the mess we are in the and the lack of ethics by amny realtors in the industry today. looks like you found the realtor that will be "sensitive" to your needds as a seller.

I completely agree. Post pictures ofthe property, that area you think might interest the public. they are getting smarter than that. step it up an bit and show them respect.

Why not spend your efforts in requesting the specific information you want.
As Sally indicated, there are many reasons for only one photo.
NONE of them have to do with being lazy.
They do however, have a lot to do with being stategic.
Local folks who know the community, won't let the lack if images deter them.
Local buyer preferences.
"First Look" buyers will receive 'recommended' properties that others will turn from for silly reasons such as insufficient pictures.
Committed buyer preferences.
This may be a investor qualified property where the numbers, not the pictures, are the compelling factors.
Cash buyer preferences.
Your hesitance to take decisive action is EXACTLY the outcome that is desired. You have volunteered to be a victim. If you want more information, ask for it.

What exactly are you looking for and what is the budget? Providing better information gets better results.

Unfortunately, it's up to the listing agent to properly market their listing! This is a huge pet peeve of mine. It's possible the house doesn't show very well on the inside, and the agent wants to promote the exterior. Or maybe he/she is just lazy. Maybe there are renters living there, and it's difficult for the agent to get inside to take photos? Hard to say. If you're interested in it, you should contact your Realtor, and schedule a showing!
