Why are so many condos for sale on Heritage Drive? Is there something wrong with the community?

According to the tax records, there is a total of 331 units in the complex. There are 14 currently on the market so it is not a large percentage. Traditionally, the complex was the affordable starting point for young families to move into the Clarkstown School District. Many of these families are taking advantage of the favorable market to purchase larger homes. In addition, many long time residents are leaving the area for warmer climes. It is the natural ebb and flow and the real estate market. Nothing unusual going on here.

Hi Rockland,
Whats happening there is the same thing thats happening to homes all over, it's a buyer market and it's taking longer to sell them, so they kinda pile up, this is the best time to get a good price on a home anywhere. Let me know if you'd like to see any of the untis there, or anywhere else in Orange or Rockland.
Thank you,
Bill Smith

Hi, I remember when these Condo's were first built in 1975, going to tour the 'Model Units". I remember thinking Condo's were the wave of the future! There was not alot of turn over with the units for a long time.
Most of the residents were/are very happy living there. Now it is time for a new influx of residents to occupy!
If you would like -to view any, please give me a call.

Some of the units you may be seeing have deals on them but just not in contract or closed yet. Considering the number of units in the complex, there really aren't that many available. This a very desirable area and the least expensive entry into the Clarkstown School District. Inventory rises in any market occasionally, then all of a sudden they all get sold. Now would be a great time to make a good deal. I sold some recently and can guide you to the best deal. Feel free to contact me by email of call at 845-639-4440.

The New City condos are very desireable units in a very desireable location. Don't know what you mean by "so many". Your realtor will be able to dsicuss specific questions you have about a specific property. Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions.
