Whiffletree is a very nice community. It's a neighborhood that has homes from the mid 70s to mid 90s ranging from the low 200s to the 500s. The newer part stretches from Legacy to Independence, and the older part at Spring Creek and Independence. There is a voluntary HOA.

I'll be happy to email you all the homes on the market if you wish,

Whiffletree is very nice, and Matthews elementary is awesome. You may also want to look at Estates of Russell Creek just north of hedgecoxe off of Coit. . The main benefit being the school path has the highest available current rating: Wyatt Elementary-Exemplary, Rice Middle School -Exemplary (this is the only exemplary middle school in all of PISD), Jasper HS- Exemplary, Plano Senior HS- Recognized. The middle school is the key to the equation. You can find several other exemplary elementary, but Rice Rocks-as they say!

Hi Dr. Mathew,

As others have said, this is a nice community.

However, based on really wanting a 4/3, large back yard, excellent school system, minimum 3000 sq. ft., & water view, I think Timber Brook or possibly Stoney Hollow could be a better fit for you. I know you were dreaming about making that happen, and since it can - why not? :)

This is a wonderful community in a great location in Plano. You are conveniently located between 75-Central and the Dallas North Tollroad; you also have easy access to Highway 121 and the George Bush Turnpike. Additionally, the schools are great in this area, and you have wonderful parks nearby. The homes in this area are well built, and well maintained; you will be able to find a great home with a great price in Whiffletree.

Of course, you can also check out the other nearby areas such as Carriage Hills, Parkway Estates, Kimberlea, and Post Oak Estates. Each of these subdivisions compliment each other and feed into the same schools, which begins will Blue Ribbon Award winning Wells Elementary.

Good luck!
