Hi Robert.

What kind of info are you looking for? If it's comps, try subscribing to http://www.homevalueplus.com. I'm an investor, and I don't buy a house without consulting it. It will allow you to get unbiased comps. No, it's not free, but has been worth every penny for the past three years. If you need any other info, I'll be glad to help you out in any way I can. Again, I'm only a fellow investor, not a Realtor. julio@investtex.com

Robert thanks for the question. What information do you need exactly? What you need might be found in different places. For example if you only want to look at the last transfer date you can see this information online at dallascad.org. If you need to see leins on the property you'll need to go to the county records office at: Records Building, 509 Main Street 2nd Floor, Dallas, Texas 75202 . You may be able to look online as well at: http://www.realestate.countyclerk.dallascounty.org/localizat… . If you know you will buy or sell your home, you may be able to get the information you need from a local title company. If you plan to do extensive research at the courthouse, I'd suggest you take George Roddys class on searchs. It's cheap and they're experts and excellent resources. Call me if you need help or info on the classes or have a more detailed question. Good luck.
