Grand Addison, Chatham Court, and Waterford are all good neighborhoods in that $250,000-$350,000 price range. Realize, though, that you will pay for location. Addison is one of the only cities in Dallas where a 3-bedroom home could cost you over a million dollars. And, there isn't a single 4-bedroom home available at the moment for under $1.2 million. There are some terrific Dallas neighborhoods that are on the edges of Addison and are wonderful choices. But, keep in mind that this is an area of resale homes - not new construction. Keep the year built 'open' and don't fear a home built in the 1970's and 1980's. This was a fantastic time in the Dallas suburbs, when builders were making names for themselves. Custom homes can sell in this area in the $225,000-$350,000 price range, and these homes pre-date the recession of the early 1990's, so quality materials are common and architecture is unique and not cookie-cutter.

Have a blessed day!

Addison is a great place to live, but not too many houses or condos. Mostly commercial. It's really not that big of a place. You could probably see every home for sale in this price range in a morning or afternoon. If you'd like me to send you a list of all available in this price range just drop me an email.

Hi Kaye - Adding on to Ronda, there are a couple of possibilities, though tough to buy in Addison for the price range you stated, but can help you find good resale values nearby! Normally we like to keep you where you want to be, but can find other hoppin' area's for ya close to Addison!

Addison is a great area for Dallas, however has an extremely "small foot print" for a community. There are a few locations depends if you want a single family home or a town home.

Happy to forward properties. Addison is central to the DFW area, could be several other areas for options not far from Addison take inconsideration
