Trulia does not get specific regarding homestead but you can go to http://www.leepa.org or leetc.com and view the tax bill.

Please call or email me with any quesetions and I would live the opportunity to apply for the job as your realtor.

It is the current owners tax bill so if they are homesteaded the amount will reflect the exemption - if they are not homesteaded of course it won't reflect the exemption.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions on what the taxes you see are based on and I will be more than happy to research it for you.

Being in New Jersey, Monir may not understand the Florida Homestead. If the current owner has filed for and is recieving the homestead exemption (in SW Florida); then the property tax amount that are reflected in public records (iincluding the MLS and Trulia) would infact reflect the current tax bill with the homestead exemption. If the property is owned and occupied by someone as their primary residence, there is a good chance the tax bill reflects a homestead exemption.
Please check the current tax bill at the link below to know for sure.

Usually not -- they are almost always raw tax information about what was paid or the town tax assessment, depending on where the data came from. Very little current homestead exemption revisions, I think under 5% on trulia listings!!

Maybe or maybe not. The taxes displayed are the current taxes for the past tax year. If the current owner has homestead filed on the proeprty it would reflect this.
