It is a pretty diverse neighborhood. In regards to what type of people reside in the area, I lived in Pacific Heights for awhile and as I said a very diverse neighborhood from a small starting family, couples, single professionals, retired you name it. If you are trying to get a feel of the neighborhood prior to moving the best way to find out if you like it is to hang out in the area and see how you like it.

The question is, what is it that you are looking for in a neighborhood and what is important to you? I have a handful of great Realtors that specializes in the Pacific Heights district I can refer you to if you need a reputable realtor to help you. Best and thanks...

Pac Heights is little more yuppie than other parts of San Francisco. When I lived in SF there were are lot of professionals that worked downtown that rented in Pac Heights. It's a gorgeous area no doubt, but not quite as eclectic and earthy as some other SF neighborhoods. There are probably some older folks too that have lived there for many decades.

Hi Eric-

Everyone's opinion of "types" of people will be different based on their background and their own personal perceptions. It's always best to hang out in an area that you want to know more about. Go to dinner, take walks through it at various times of the day/night. Stop and try to chat with neighbors, etc...

About 10-12 years ago, there was a MOVIE titles PACIFIC HEIGHTS
I think it starred the guy who was MR. MOM, but I'm old and forget a lot.
It was a MURDER / MYSTERY.
I think the murder was solved and the Movie Company moved on, so you're safe.

Good luck and may God bless
