I suggest reaching out to a Realtor. An experenced full time broker can help you find a home and match you up with the best property management company to complement your personal use. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss your goals. mark@vailmtnrealestate.com 9703763204

Not Trulia, unless you like stale information peppered wit lots of advertising

http://www.vailproperty.com is a live feed of MLS data in the Vail market..

Eventually you should involve a real estate professional as there are many nuances involved in purchasing resort real estate.

Ellen@vailreservations.com can assist you with property management information. They do not do sales, but they have 37 years of resort management experiance.

None of them!
If you want accurate details and listings that are actually current and actually on the market, you need to work with a local broker who knows the mls and inventory in your area of interest.
Otherwise you could end up spinning your wheels for nothing...
And don't forget, as a buyer, you get broker services for Free usually!
Now my contact info is..........

I think the best situation for you is to work with a local broker who has managed rentals, or has rental properties of their own. If you search online for rentals or investment properties, often you will get directed to businesses that don't have a local presence - which is a waste of time. Location is key to finding a great rental (near the free Town of Vail shuttle, or Vail Village within walking distance to slopes, depending on your investment price point).

You can also search on this very user-friendly site: http://www.buyvailcoloradohomes.com
